National Certificate for Designated Premises Supervisors (BIIAB)
This one day course is complimentary to the NCPLH and provides additional background knowledge to the role of DPS.
It is designed to provide Designated Premises Supervisors with an understanding of their roles and their responsibilities in relation to the Licensing Act 2003.
The course will cover:
- The roles and responsibilities of the designated premises supervisor
- The licensable activities carried out in licensed premises
- The requirements of legislation and best practice to support the four licensing objectives
- How to conduct a risk assessment, and how it is used to underpin the operating schedule
- The relationship between operating schedules and management controls
