Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH (CIEH)
This half day course is designed for anyone who deals with hazardous substances and wishes to gain a greater understanding of COSHH assessments.
The course complements the CIEH Health and Safety in the Workplace programme.
This Course covers:
- Explanation of the term hazardous substances
- how hazardous substances can cause ill-health and injury
- identification of hazardous substances
- principles for controlling substances hazardous to health
- the value and purposes of conducting a COSHH assessment
- Legislation relating to COSHH Regulations 1999
